VA to Hold Outreach Events in Blackwell, Enid and Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma City VA Health Care System invites Veterans, their families and caregivers, and the public to attend one of the upcoming Veterans Resource Fairs. Three outreach events will be held in May.  

The Blackwell Veterans Resource Fair will be held on Wednesday, May 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the VFW Post 2855, 1006 W. Ferguson Avenue.  The Enid Veterans Resource Fair will be held on Wednesday, May 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Northwest OK DAV, 202 W. Walnut Avenue.  The Oklahoma City Veterans Resource Fair will be held on Thursday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ground Floor Atrium at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center, 921 N.E. 13th Street.

The Veterans Resource Fairs provide Veterans, caregivers and the public an opportunity to meet with representatives from various VA programs including:
  • Veterans Benefits Administration for claims questions
  • Native American Veterans Program
  • Transition & Care Management for OEF/OIF/OND Veterans
  • Health Promotion Disease Prevention
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Veterans Choice Program
  • Human Resources
  • Eligibility to enroll for VA health care

Veterans that are unable to attend the Resource Fairs can learn more about VA services and benefits at www.explore.va.gov.  Assistance is also available through the Veterans Experience Office at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System.  Our team of Patient Advocates is available to assist with questions, compliments and concerns about VA healthcare and can be reach at (405) 456-1788 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
